CEC needs to be on the board to even be in the BIOS. If you have a NUC that has the pins connected then it might be able to be turned on in the BIOS. To date, I don’t think there is an MTR provider who is shipping a unit that has the CEC pin connected and can be turned on. I know some future devices will have this, but again at best effort it is up to the display response as well. I am told that Crestron support has tested these displays to respond correctly with turning the system on and off with the MTR turning the video output on and off and these would be the displays I would start with for any MTR manufacturer. I haven’t seen that other manufacturers have a similar list, but if you find them then I think adding that link here would be helpful for others as well.
